Well finally, here it is. The first big snowstorm of the season. 30 cm is forecast. I guess tomorrow's rush hour is going to be a typical" first storm of the season s**t-show". And, lo and behold, a cargo ship has docked at the Alexandra pier, which recently only gets cruise ships. Perhaps this one will stay there for the winter, like in the old days.
No sooner do I take the above shot of the ice patterns in the harbour does the local newspaper publish almost the same shot, from a slightly different perspective! Where was the photographer?
